The Geological Society of Malaysia or GSM was founded in 1967 with the aim of promoting the advancement of geoscience, particularly in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. The Society has a membership of about 600 local and international geoscientists.
We publish a scientific journal (Bulletin of the Geological Society of Malaysia), a newsletter (Warta Geologi), conference proceedings, books, and organize field trips, seminars, short courses and technical talks.
